Iran 98   - Bam

Next place was desert town Kerman. In this time we moved during daytime. Road led along big salt lakes and then through endless loam desert. Due to lack of time we hired a car (with drived) for the whole day (40 000r/p). We visited bazaar first with famous teahouse in a place of old bathes. Kerman bazzar looks most "original" from the bazaars we passed through. Next stop was Madan mausoleum with beautiful sky-blue dome.

I Madan, after few days some of us had first "real" meal. Digestive problems are seems to be gone. 180km from Madan in direction to pakistani border (Zahedan) is located highlight of our "sightseeng" tour around Iran - ruins of ancient town BAM.

In the middle of desert appeares magical, surrounded by huge walls, inhabited caravan town. It was like a dream (or at least like some fantasy film). We roamed through a maze of corriodrs and buildings to climbe highest tower of the citadel in the middle. View was just fabulous.

Entrance fee as usual for foreigners 10 000r. We met a few iranians only, no turists! Amaizing for such highlight. Everybody agrees that it was more exciting than Perseopolis, and Perseopolis was really cool. Bam was really HOT, 39,8 °C!

To save time (dwo days in bus) we flew from Kerman to Teheran Air ticket costs around 18 USD!!
