- Shiraz
Due to time pressure (we had transit visa for 5 days)
we were forced to went by bus during the night to Shiraz. Fourth night in bus was "horrible". There
was no free seat so we squized ourselves on board in the back of the bus. It was a real nightmare, nearly
without sleep and everybody had some kind of digestive problems. Morning we immediatelly moved
to hotel and fall asleep.
In Shiraz we spent four days. We arranged extension of
our visa for next 7 days. Shiraz was old capital and has mausoleums of the persian kings. Famous are
gardens, real persian gardens!! Especially botanical garden of Shiraz university. We tested also public
transport. Ticket cost 2 cents and first half of the bus is for men and second half for women!
